Meet The Team
In all the ways important to YOU the client, we are the same. Our level of experience and skill, approach, demeanor, style, abilities and process all align almost interchangeably and that is by design. We all take the work very seriously and our equipment, our inventory and our back up programs- are all superior and well above the industry standard.
Having said that, we are individuals with unique hobbies and life experiences. And some of us have perhaps too much hair, others, no hair. And one of us likes the Dallas Cowboys so there's that...
Bill ClementsBill began his DJ career as a club DJ and has worked clubs in SC, along the Gulf Coast and NC. Bill now has over 20 years experience as a mobile DJ performing weddings and working as a Master of Ceremonies. Considering himself an 'opportunistic' DJ, he looks for organic, intimate moments in the event to create lasting memories for the clients he serves. He is most proud of the returning families; siblings, cousins, that have called to have him back for their weddings and anniversaries. He has many siblings as repeat clients, one with three brothers and sisters and the Printy family, who gave him the high honor of serving as DJ/ MC for all four of their children over a span of a decade.Bill loves music history, figuring out how things work and his brilliant OG daughter Cassidy, an App State grad living out in Colorado. He is happiest doing whatever, where ever with his wife Elizabeth and two little ones, Annelise and Ellison. He enjoys running with many half's and a full marathon completed. He is addicted to Starbucks and he can generally be counted on to coordinate most events and trips to capitalize on a stop there. By day, Bill is in regional sales within the multifamily industry. Bill is proud to remind folks he has performed for the wedding of a fellow Z Brother!
Brian KeelanBrian has more than 20 years experience as a mobile DJ/ MC and is in fact, our managing partner, handing all day to day operations, booking and scheduling for the team. A UNC Chapel Hill grad who developed a broad and diverse music apppreciation while there, Brian is also a lover of all things History. He keeps that passion intact through books and film and even makes it a priority to travel to Northern Michigan each year to attend a local film festival with family he has there.
Diligent in getting every detail just right for his clients, Brian does all he can to ensure that he delivers the perfect experience, each and every time. This is why industry professionals return over and over. Brian has also performed as DJ/ MC for a Z Brothers wedding. Brian also considers himself a devoted Red Sox fan and loves the Panthers as well having co-owned a PSL with his dad for many years. In his day career, he has many years in sales and sales management in addition to running Z Brothers Entertainment on a daily basis.
Travis Dupree
Raised in Texas, Travis is to this day, a HUGE Dallas Cowboys fan. He grew up an Air Force brat and is himself a veteran. He began his DJ career in 1993 and is so passionate about DJing that he still gets butterflies before each event. He guarantees 110% effort in each of his events and thrives on doing such a great job for each and every client in the belief they will return and or recommend him. It is fair to say that Travis is THE most enthusiastic guy here.
Travis had a full scholorship to LSU for vocal performance and was first chair tenor in the state of Texas during high school. He loves to travel with his wife Ali and gets excited for their adventures. He current sings in his church's choir and by day is a leader in his company specializing in debt management and recovery.
Rich Lange
Rich loves being a DJ and Master of Ceremonies- it provides him an opportunity to create customized experiences and soundtracks for couples, their families, and their guests. “I give it my all in helping couples create the most fun, most creative, and most connected wedding – in other words, the Best wedding they’ve ever been to!” Rich has been a DJ since age 14 and has worked full-time in weddings for more than 15 years. Rich has experience as a DJ in both the radio and mobile entertainment worlds and is professionally trained as a Speaker, MC, and Storyteller – including time at the world-famous Second City in Chicago.
Also active in the Wedding and DJ industries, Rich is the Founder and Director of The North American Collective of Entertainment Designers, dedicated to the ongoing training and development of DJs and event entertainers. Rich is the Vice-President of Education for Midwest DJs Live, an industry education conference held each April in Milwaukee. He is considered by many to be a mentor, is a frequent contributor to industry groups, and has appeared as a speaker at events including ADJA and ABC chapter meetings, Wedding MBA, and the NAB Show/National Association of Broadcasters annual convention.
Outside of the wedding industry, Rich also works as a professional voice actor. He loves participating in great experiences involving travel, music, and great food.
Ray Franklin
A self taught musician and vocalist, Ray started out playing drums and eventually moved on to the mandolin and bass guitar before finally realizing the acoustic guitar was 'home'. Professionally, Ray has performed all over the Charlotte Metro area (pretty well known out and about down in the Rock Hill- Fort Mill area). He's performed as a solo act, with a three piece band and even as a duo with a violinist- from festivals, bars, country clubs and weddings, he's seen them all!
Ray's influences are all over the spectrum from Amos Lee and Ed Sheeran to Alicia Keys and Michael Jackson. When he's not playing, he's in research and development within the adhesives and polymers industry (yes, it is fancy). Ray and his wife Yanet are a Z Brothers Couple as well (obviously)!
